The Traxler Clan at Pizza Ranch for Leone's Birthday

Ben is at 3 months now and Frannie and Sara are in LOVE.

The State Fair and Traxler Weekend. It all was a fun time. We went to the fair on Friday with Sara and Patrick and Luke. The weather was windy and cold, but it was still fun. Then off to Arrowood Resort in Alexandria for a weekend with the Traxler clan. This is about 40 years of fun for most of them....

Earle is standing by the Greg Schwartz family that was featured in the Ag building at the fair. Pretty neat that a local family was highlighted.

Benjamin

Benjamin Nathan Traxler, our first grandchild, arrived on June 1, 2010
This is him on Day 2 of his life. Photo by his Aunt Sara.
His Mom and Dad are doing wonderful and you can't wipe the smiles off their happy faces!
What a cutie and he has personality already! He loves to be swaddled and if you take those blankets off and release his hands, he starts protesting right away. We love him.......

Here are some photos from an accident that happened in Nathan and Nickie's front yard at 4:30 a.m on april 24th. The car was a Mercedes and it was lucky - lots of airbags. The 27 year old guy from LeCenter walked away.

King size bed quilt. This is the quilt I started last year and did a lot of the squares on the airplane when we went to Alaska in June of 2009.
The proces has been fun and now the quilt is complete. This is before long arm quilting - which I did at Quilters Dream in Montgomery. I had to take a certification class and then I went in and did a diligent 4 hours worth of freehand long-arm quilting. Quite and experience and I am so happy to have given that a shot! This quilt is dedicated to Earle. I knew he wanted one!!

Here is a table runner that I made for Christmas This is the pattern I used. It was easy to use and was a 60 degree ruler that did the trick.
